I am writing to express my opposition to the Georgetown University boathouse proposed for the C&O Canal National Historical Park, and request you to do the following:

1. Preserve the C&O Canal National Historical Park for public use, not develop it for private facilities.

2. Build private boathouses outside of the C&O Canal National Historical Park.

3. Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the boathouse proposal that considers alternative sites outside of the national park.
