The National Park Service
will prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the impacts associated
with the construction of a proposed boathouse by Georgetown University on a one-acre
site above Key Bridge located on the Potomac River in Georgetown.
A public scoping meeting will be held Tuesday, January
11, 2005 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Latham Hotel, 3000 M St., NW in Georgetown.
The purpose of scoping is to
offer the public an opportunity to identify issues and alternatives that should
be considered in the EA.
To submit comments in advance, be placed on our mailing list or request a copy
of the EA when it is available for comment, please contact us at the project
email address.
The National Park Service
will accept written comments through January 21, 2005 (no later than 4 PM), via
